Starting 5/15/2024 8:00 PM and Ending 5/20/2024 6:00 AM.
The Entrance Ramp will be closed on the following nights to allow crews to
perform milling and paving operations for the I-10 ramp. • Wednesday, May 15 at
8:00 p.m. until Thursday, May 16 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting. • Thursday,
May 16 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, May 17 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting. •
Sunday, May 19 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, May 20 at 6:00 a.m., weather
permitting. Motorists traveling on LA 93 will only be able to access I-10 WB via
the posted detour route, which includes taking I-10 eastbound to Exit 100 - US
167/LA 3184 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy), turn north on US 167/LA 3184 (Ambassador
Caffery Pkwy), then take I-10 westbound to Exit 97 - LA 93 (Scott, Cankton).
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods. There will be no
vehicle width restrictions with this work. DOTD appreciates your patience and
reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction sit and be on

SCOTT, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD)
announces the recent start of construction for a $2.58 million project to
resurface and widen La. 93 from U.S. 90 (Cameron St.) to its intersection with
Benoit Patin Road in Lafayette Parish. The project will include new drainage
structures, milling asphaltic concrete, pavement widening, pavement patching,
base stabilization, asphalt overlay, striping, and related work. The work is
estimated to take place Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather
permitting. Intermittent lane closures will be required to perform the work,
therefore, drivers should expect delays. Emergency vehicles will have access to
this area but may encounter delays. The road will be open to regular traffic
with a 10-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work
zone. The project commenced in September 2022 and is estimated to be complete in
March of 2023. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive
with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews
