LA 589 in West Carroll Parish will be closed to all through traffic from Monday,
May 13, 2024 through Monday, May 20, 2024. The LA 589 closure will be between
the intersection of LA 589 and Burrell Road and approximately 0.57 miles from
the intersection of LA 589 and LA 17. The road closure is required to remove and
replace an existing drainage structure. The closure is expected to take 7
calendar days, weather permitting. Permit/Detour Section Restrictions: The
roadway in the area described will be closed to all through traffic. Detour: A
detour route will be signed and provided for the duration of the closure. All
traffic must detour using LA 17 and LA 582. Safety Reminder LA DOTD and Bentz
Construction Group appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with
caution through the construction site and to be on the lookout for work crews
and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving,
