Road Maintenance Operations on LA-480 Both Directions from Bayou St to Parish Rd. All Lanes Affected. Starting 3/14/2024 12:00 AM
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on Thursday, March 14, 2024, construction will begin on LA 480 in Natchitoches Parish. This work will begin at the intersection of LA 480 and Mill Street and proceed west for 7.903 miles to the Parish Line. The intent of this project is micro-milling asphalt pavement, micro-surfacing, pavement patching, and other related work. The project was awarded to the low bidder, Vance Brothers Inc., in the amount of $1,734,909.40. The work associated with this project should take approximately 50 working days to complete. Permit/Detour section Thru traffic will be maintained at all times with oversize and emergency vehicles allowed passage. There will be no detour routes for this project.
