UPDATE: LA 113 over Sugar Creek is now open to traffic. (previous announcement) Emergency Bridge Closure on LA 113 Over Sugar Creek - Beauregard Parish Beauregard Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 113 over Sugar Creek will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning immediately for emergency bridge repairs. The bridge closure is necessary following a recent load rating analysis, which indicated structurally deficient piles. Crews will begin ordering materials and mobilizing equipment in the coming days. Once the repairs are underway, DOTD will provide an update regarding the anticipated date for reopening the bridge. Safety reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
