Traffic incidents and road conditions on I-90 in Washington

I 90 Ritzville to Tyler, Exit 257: Bare and wet.

I 90 Tyler, exit 257 to US 195, exit 279: Bare and wet.

Sound Transit will close the two left lanes of westbound I-90 between the Mercer Island and Mt. Baker tunnels at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7 and reopen at 5 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8.

I 90 Broadway, exit 286 to the Idaho State Line: Bare and wet.

Expect daytime lane reductions, Mondays through Thursdays, on I-90 eastbound and westbound near the I-90/SR 18 interchange. Crews will alternate closing a single lane and shoulder on the left and right side of the freeway. Eastbound I-90: 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Westbound I-90: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews are building the new diverging diamond interchange.

Westbound milepost 138-137 over the Vantage bridge, Monday Dec. 4 thru Thursday Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. Drivers may experience backups and delays due to a single-lane closure with a 12 ft. width restriction for bridge maintenance.

Sound Transit will close the right lane of westbound I-90 at the Shorewood overpass from 8-10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Eastbound at milepost 91 near Elk Heights is reduced to a single lane of travel due to a blocking collision.

From Monday, April 17 until further notice Sound Transit will close the westbound I-90 HOV ramps to Bellevue Way SE from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily Monday through Friday.

The westbound Winchester RV dumping station (including the freshwater pump) is out of service due to mechanical issues. There is no estimated time of reopening.
