Exit 227 (West NC-74) is currently closed as a long term closure.  The ramp will be closed 24-hrs. per day until the end of July, 2023.  Motorists can follow the signed detour to Exit 224 (S. Main Street) to return to Exit 227 via US 421 northbound.
