Traffic incidents and road conditions on US-421 in North-Carolina

Ramp closed due to pavement resurfacing project.  If need the right lane on NC 67 (Silas Creek Parkway) South Bound at US 421 will be closed due to the pavement resurfacing project on the Ramp

Ramp closed due to pavement resurfuring project.  If needed the right lane on NC 67 (Silas Creek Parkway) North Bound at US 421 will be closed due to pavement resurfacing project on the Ramp.

Right Lane of US421 will be closed for maintenance to bridge over US421 (SR 2662 Linville Rd) Bridge 034 0364 

US 421 SB Exit Ramp onto US 64 Closed due to Construction.

One lane is closed between US 64 and Carter Brooks Road.

Resurfacing US 421 NB& SB From Carter Brooks Road to US 64. Expect daily lane closures during construction. 

This work is part of the overall project to repair the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge.  Work will be underway from January through May 2024. West Bound travel will be closed to replace the stringers and grid deck. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and plan accordingly for delays.
