Shoulder Closed

Bridge Replacement and grading operations including blasting. Potential for lane closures and short duration road closures during the day.  Potential for short duration road and lane closures at night during the life of the project. Rock blasting operations on north side of bridge 11am - 2pm, Monday through Wednesday (stopped traffic at maximum 30 minute increments) - blasting operations ON HOLD and to be intermittent moving forward. Overall, lane closures and intermediate stopping of traffic can be expected primarily between 9am - 4pm during the week, should conditions require it. Contractor is currently flagging traffic for hauling material from the job site, which should have minimal traffic impacts until blasting resumes.

Lane closures to be placed in north/south-bound lanes between Roby Bently Rd and Old Shulls Mill Rd as-needed, to accommodate for moving grading operations and large equipment, and for stabilization crews. Traffic may be stopped in both directions intermittently for moving of grading equipment on top of slopes due to risk of falling rock, with Broadstone Rd intersection being flagged. Delays to traffic may be between 15 - 30 minutes in either direction, depending on volume of traffic. Message boards in area updated to notify of work conditions. Expect delays and the possibility of stopped traffic if weather conditions permit construction.

*If planning to travel through area during the above-mentioned times, please plan accordingly to allow additional travel time.*
